Oklahoma Breakfast Stylized Shoot: Ely Fair, Oklahoma City Wedding Photographers

Oh my goodness. Where to even start about this. Well, I suppose I can start with what this is. It’s a stylized shoot. I’m sure a lot of you have heard about them before, basically it’s a photo shoot that is purposed to show brides ideas for their weddings.

Way back this summer I stumbled across a wedding that I absolutely LOVED all of the details, and it had been styled by a company named Wednesday. I didn’t even realize until it was pointed out to me that Wednesday is an Oklahoma based paper and event design company! I had been thinking about doing my own stylized shoot, just throwing some stuff together in my backyard that I though were cute, begging one of my friends to get into their wedding dress and model for me. But seeing Wednesday’s amazing work planted the seed in my mind to collaborate with Oklahoma City vendors to bring awareness to the growing creativity of the wedding market here. So I emailed the lovely Jessica and Garrett at Wednesday to see if they might want to work together on this little project. That turned into this not so little, but wonderful project.

Overall, this was such a great experience working with some wonderful, creative and talented Oklahoma Wedding vendors, and made some sweet friends.
Thank you to our vendors who donated all of their beautiful pieces, and hard work:

This makes me want to get married again. But not to a new husband; that would hurt Bryan’s feelings.

I am going home tonight to start to stringing marshmallows to hang over our dining room table. Wow. Elyse, truly this shoot and all the details are simply stunning. Bravo to you and the crew. So what did you do with all those pancakes? :)

Dang, we would have saved them for you if we had known you wanted them! We had over 180! And we just tossed the pancakes, too. After 2 days of having them all around me, I’m not so sure I can look at another pancake again for a while!!
