Cari was a dream of a bride. So kind, so calm, and SO GEORGOUS. I mean, seriously, she looks like she came straight out of a magazine.
And it was a dream of a day. We had been keeping our fingers crossed the whole week before that the rain would stop. And Mother Nature complied and gave a beautiful, blue skied, fluffy cloud day. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. And the White Dog Hill was fabulous. I hadn’t ever seen anything like it in Oklahoma. The best way I could describe it was that it had a vintage, rustic charm. And they had the most perfect place for a first sight.
Cari and Garrett were our first bride and groom to do a first sight. And now I’m hooked on them. It was sweet, and so personal. And it made it so we could take some really fun and unique shots with them and the wedding party that we couldn’t have if we had waited until after the wedding.

You guys, these are just gorgeous. I love the rusticity of the surroundings juxtaposed with the elegance of everyone dressed up. I really like the image of the ladies with their backs turned. I think those bring about more questions and thought that images with everyone standing forward.
How did you get everyone to stand together and take a picture? Was it the bride and groom’s idea? I love it!
Heather– Thank you for your kind words! Sorry for the delay in response to your question–I had suggested a whole wedding photo to the bride when we met for the first time back in February, and she loved the idea. So directly after the ceremony, the preacher announced that the bride and groom would be standing outside, and would like everyone in the wedding to gather around for a group photo. I think it was so fun because it’s a record of EVERYONE who was there.-ely
